Effective date: June 26, 2026
This policy describes how Vasilii Andreev handles information in relation to Simplreads.
In the current build workflow, the app does not require account creation and is not intended to collect personal information for transmission to a developer-operated backend service.
The app may store books, reading status, page progress, reviews, notes, articles, playlists, goals, and app preferences locally on the user’s device.
If the user searches for books, the search query may be sent to external book information services used by the app to return book metadata such as titles, authors, descriptions, and covers. Those services may process requests under their own terms and privacy policies.
In the current version of this policy, the app is not intended to include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking mechanisms.
The developer does not sell user data. User-created content may be shared only when the user explicitly uses system sharing, export, or other user-initiated actions.
Device backups, iCloud features, and other Apple services may process app-related data depending on the user’s device settings. Apple services are governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
The app is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated backend in the current workflow.
This policy may be updated from time to time. If the app’s data practices change, the policy should be revised before the updated version is released.
